Design & Build

The Tapo L530E looks like a standard A60 bulb with an E27 fitting. The frosted dome diffuses light well, and the build quality is respectable for the price. It's the same size as a regular bulb, so it fits in any standard fixture.

Brightness & Colour

At 806 lumens (60W equivalent), the L530E is adequate for most rooms though noticeably dimmer than the 1000-1100 lumen premium options. The 16 million colours are vibrant, though reds and deep blues aren't quite as saturated as Hue or LIFX. Tuneable white (2500-6500K) covers the practical range well.

Setup & App
